Wake me up, wake me up inside, I can’t wake up,
Wake me up inside, save me,
Call my name and save me from the dark, wake me up
Bid my blood to run, I can’t wake up
Before I come undone, save me
Save me from the nothing I’ve become
Oh, wait a minute. That’s Evanescence…. this week’s word is Evanescent! *goes and Googles the meaning of evanescent*
Evanescent: soon passing out of sight, memory, or existence; quickly fading or disappearing.
Bring me to life, I’ve been living a lie
There’s nothing inside, bring me to life.
Magical!

When you reach a certain age, it is a real possibility that this process occurs quite naturally. That is not a bad thing, per se, and there comes with it a delicious quiet and knowing.
Lovely image.

Well you ain’t quite there yet, although you are always at your oldest, I reckon. I read once that 50 is the adolescence of old age, and boy (or lass) is that true. In any event, you look a whole lot better than I do.
